At Erican Language Centre, we believe every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunity to build confidence through learning. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Erican Language Centre recently organized the “Books & Beyond” Community Outreach Program to support underprivileged students and encourage a love for English learning.
Bringing Learning Closer to the Community
The CSR activity was held in collaboration with a local community centre, where volunteers and teachers from Erican Language Centre spent a meaningful day engaging with children through fun and educational activities.
The program included:
- English communication games
- Storytelling sessions
- Reading activities
- Basic public speaking exercises
- Interactive group learning
Students were also given educational materials, stationery sets, and reading books to support their learning journey beyond the classroom.
Encouraging Confidence Through English
One of the main goals of the program was to help children feel more confident using English in everyday communication. Through interactive activities and positive encouragement, students were able to express themselves freely while improving their language skills in a fun environment.
Seeing the students actively participate, smile, and communicate confidently was truly rewarding for everyone involved.
